Im loosing the will to carry on. Im 37 weeks tomorrow and am booked for my c section 2 weeks monday but my just turned 2 year old is become to difficult to cope with.
Im the size of a house and struggling to bend and do anything really although still am and its leading to the most painfull back pain.
He also is insisting on climbing, elbowing and kicking me, although not on purpose but finds it funny when told not to.
How do people manage to cope these last few weeks????

The only thing i can do is let him watch his fav tv programmes, but he seems to want this all the time and will sit and do nothing else.

We don't watch TV at all, apart from the odd Sesame Street video on YouTube, maybe once a week. We go to the library regularly and do a lot of reading for sitting down time. It's another option if you're worried about too much telly.

Just saw you've got some creche time - that will really help. You will cope better and enjoy your last few weeks together far better if you get good breaks.

When you're feeling overwhelmed and enormous and unable to stop your toddler from kicking you in the tummy or injuring themselves, it certainly feels like it's an impossible task.

I'm 33 weeks with a 14 month old and second the bath suggestion - when I'm at wit's end I just stick him in the tub with lots of toys. I think it will be more tiring lifting him out though when my bump gets even bigger.
I also try to visit friends with toddlers and just sit in their lounges drinking tea while they play - means no clearing up at my house and stairgates etc already in situ - visiting friends/relis without kids = tiring as constantly have to chase them to stop them going up stairs etc.
When i really need to lie down for a few minutes i lie on the bed with different cuddly toys and put ds under the duvet and play peekaboo.
