DS was 2 weeks late and I was induced after 2 days of back to back labour I didn't get past 4cm and had a section, basically I'm not very good at giving birth but in my defence he was 10lbs 8ozs.

What do I do this time plan a section or give it another go? Last week at the 32 week app I measured 36 at the beginning and 33 at the end. I have no faith in growth scans last time it was 2lbs off. I know size isn't supposed to matter but that's always a fib isn't it? wink

Any advice?

hard to advise - if another big baby and potential back to back labour then def go for CS? If they think baby smaller and in good position then consider VB? In any case they will not want to induce after CS so if you are late again (quite likely) your mind will be made for you.

I've been told that they will induce you with gel but not the syntocin drip after previous CS at my local hospital.
I'm down for VBAC but also getting twitchy at thought of large baby (as I'm also measuring big)
My consultant is very pro VBAC though and MW said they are actively trying to get CS numbers down.
I wasn't induced with DD but did go 8 days over, induction was booked for +11.
It's such a personal choice.

I think you're right I feel very aware of being a stat every consultant appointment I've had I turn up they haven't even glanced at my notes. The last one said if you were unsafe to labour naturally they would have written it in big red pen!
