Bad taste in mouth for a GIRL?

BigMomma3 · 21/01/2010 14:30

Had a metallic taste in mouth all through pregnancy with DD (but was bearable). Had nothing with twin DSs. Am now sure I am having a girl but could be wrong!

I am nearly 14 weeks and have had a bad taste in my mouth since week 6. Sometimes it's metallic but usually like sour milk and IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!

I am chewing gum and sucking mints but the second I stop it's there again. The only was to relieve it is to eat or do the above and I am turning into a heifer!! I have also tried drinking lots of water. I can't stand the thought of having this all the way through.

Anyone else had this with girls (or boys) and if so and tips??

(According to 20 week scan, not just a "hunch")

I had it all the way through with ds.

Haven't had it with this one - no idea what it is.

Yet another gender myth.

Parsley maybe?

OK then, could be either . Will have to wait another 6 weeks to find out.

Will hold out hope that this taste will go at 20 weeks then, asparagus (am loving it in this pregnancy btw - asparagus with melted butter that is ).
