Hi, any advice welcome and thank u in advance. i am 28 wk pregnant and anaemic, doc has given me iron tabs. I am having sleepless nights as my feet are so hot at night, feels like there on fire, make me do restless and am often nodding off at 4/5 am just to be awoken by my 18month old at 8am.
Has anyone had this prob in pregnancies before, any ways to relieve it. I am washing my feet in cold water about every half hour at the moment. Doc thinks maybe because of lack of iron but cant say for def.

Sounds like a nerve problem rather then anything else. Have you tried lying on your side to see if this helps?

Hi dubidi - I get the same and i am 11 weeks at the minute. In fact, i used to get a burning feet sensation before pregnancy too. It is uncomfortable and i have not yet found a solution to it - I find that washing my feet in cold water usually works..even if for a few hours. I havent spoken to my doc or mw about it - never thought it was anything to worry about. I could be wrong. Let me know if you get to the bottom of it!!

Hi. I suffer from this too. Boots own brand of cooling foot gel helps a little although I have also been known to take a hot water bottle filled with iced water to bed. HTH.

Hi dubidi
I had this problem too and found that a cooling moisturiser on my feet before bed helped and also keeping my feet well elavated during the night. I used to use about 3 pillows to keep my feet up! hope this helps!
