It's very early days for my pregnancy (5 weeks) but panicking about the birth already!
Can anyone recommend a lovely independent midwife or doula in North London?
I'm probably going to give birth in the Whittington, so someone in the area would be ideal.
Have thought about home birth but as it's my first and am v nervous, so have decided against.
But worried about not seeing the same midwife throughout as so often seems to be the case - and am thinking an IM or doula would give some continuity - even thought I know they can't deliver the baby themselves in a hospital birth.
I really just want someone experienced, supportive and reassuring as my OH is likely to freak out rather than keep me calm!
