Two friends have used, following problems at the JR - both thought excellent. I might too depending on how it goes...

I have used them twice in my last pregancy and would use them again if i have another one, Victoria is lovely ( i was worried about miscarrying after one before) and she found a heartbeat at 5weeks 4 days). I went back again at 9 week after a bleed and because they were faster to see me than GWH, i couldn't recommend them highly enough

We went to Beard Mill for a 3d/4d scan at 26 weeks- it was a really fantastic experience.

We got some great pictures (despite our baby's best attempts to be totally uncooperative!) and would definitely recommend it.

The appointment times are much longer than the nhs so you don't feel rushed and Victoria is very pleasant and happy to explain everything.

You can arrange for a private scan at the JR with one of the consultants -just ask your midwife or GP. Mr Impey (who is brilliant) does them and some others may as well.

Yes, I went for 20 weeks scan with current (3rd) pregnancy and thought it was fantastic. Wish I had found it before - usually I go to the Fetal Medicine Centre in London. Dr Heath was absolutely fantastic - answered all queries very thoroughly, and gave a lot more information than at the FMC. Could not recommend highly enough.

Go to the Fetal Imaging Centre at Banbury instead - much much cheaper but excellent service.

Hi everyone, thought I’d join as nice to have some people to talk to I THINK im 5+6 today so due April 3rd and very excited/nervous as this is our 1st! Has anyone else booked in an early scan?....I just need some distractions, this waiting is sooo hard!!
