OK to take Canesten soon before due date?

Hi due in 4 wks - and got cystitis yet again (oh the joys of pregnancy). Is it ok to take canesten so nr to due date?

er yes, that's what I meant! I'll blame the hormones again..

I had quite bad thrush with DS2 at the same stage, and I was given canesten pessaries to use as I wasn't allowed to take the oral remedy. I would go to the GP though as he can then prescribe it for you rather than you having to pay for it!
