Such a shame its closed now link

I was born there and was premature and ill, was looked after very well. I have sad memories of their as had my scans and dd there but the support was wonderful and they were lovely.

My mum worked there until Monday morning and worked the last shift in Triage, she is quite upset.

My mum delivered my DD1 there in september 08 and I just wish I had DD2 there but she's not due till March.

Had all my care there until this morning.

Had it not been for the wonderful staff on the wards, one midwife and auxiliary in particular I would not have managed breastfeeding. They were absolutely wonderful, no matter what time of night/morning I buzzed them.

It was a shame that the hospital was kinda left to ruin in the last few years as it was such a beautiful building, and what a view over Glasgow from the labour suite!

No Princess Royal, which is where I'll go now for my care, although they've never contacted me to say my care has been transferred.

I hope they have my notes

I had my girls there, and have some very special memories of fantastic and supportive staff, and yes, the great view - great distraction!
