Braxton hicks

I'm 29 weeks, expecting DS2.
Last pregnancy, I didn't get any braxton hicks, well that I could feel anyway.
However, last few days, my bump goes hard and rigid and just feels very 'heavy' and 'full' (almost like I've eaten a full meal when i haven't). Then this feeling disappears after a few minutes. It doesn't hurt, but I'm guessing these are braxton hicks? I thought they'd feel more like contractions, which is why I just wondered what others experiences are / were ...

Thanks

Yes, that's what I would describe as BH. I'm 38wks and mine have recently started to culminate in a periody sort of pain low down, but they start off like you have described.

I am 40 weeks today. For hte last couple of weeks have felt them mainly after a big meal - but like i have stuffed my face way too much. but then i normally have so haven't sure either
also get a sharpish pain right at the top of the bump...

mamalaz i see you are going for a homebirth too. Is it your first? It is mine. Really hoping i can stay at home for the duration. Think it would be amazing.
