Hello everyone
just wondering about the experiences others have had with this. I have read the threads about rib pain/heartburn and had a few questions :

1. Was the pain under your ribs constant or did it come and go?

2)How many weeks were you?

3. How insistent did you have to be with docs/midwife to get it investigated?

I'm asking becuase I have headaches and pain under the ribs, but it comes and goes, and isn't as bad as the others on the forum. I am also only just 16 weeks.

I have been to the docs and mentioned this, but he wasn't worried. I have a midwife appointment on Friday so will mention it again (a little more assertively this time!)and see if she'll do blood tests to put my mind at rest.

I had HELLP but not til 36 weeks, from everything I have read it is really unlikely at 16 weeks. I had pain under my ribs just on my right hand side, where your liver is and I ignored it as I thought it was just everything being squished up. So I had no problem with a midwife taking it seriously, quite the opposite, they were worried and I was convinced everything was ok!
