Head completely engaged and cervix 1cm dilated- how long do we think guys?

Am defo NOT in labour at the minute! Just got back from hospital after somewhat scary left abdo pain and subsequent reduced fetal movements. Bub is totally fine, I am totally fine (think was probably a combination of a bad stitch after too much walking and a sleeping bub!) but the hospital did say head was completely engaged and my cervix was 1cm dilated (although that was possibly due to previous miscarriage).

So am 36weeks +4 so practically full term. Do ya think am going to get to 40 weeks? Oh and I had regular braxton hicks last night every ten mins lasting a minute but not painful. Having lots of braxton hicks in fact but monitor I was hooked up to said I wasn't having contractions (but I felt two braxton hicks while being hooked up which didnt register but MW said it will have been because they aren't contractions so not strong enough to register IYSWIM.)

Anyone else with similar experiences? Would quite like to get to February- think its a much nicer month to be born in- but hey ho!

Forgot to say I was also haveing periods of regular (5 mins intervals)BH and what I thought were real contractions.

I can't believe you are here already - I remember your early days posts on the mc board.

Sorry for delay internetvhas been down for 24 hours. Yuk! Turns out bub is completely posterior (not even at jaunty angle humph) so unlikely to turn 180 degrees until labour as her head is jammed. This means labour may not be as imminent as posterior babies can be engaged for a while. Back to back labour here I come tho am trying lots of bum in air stuff on off chance I can shift her.

Waves at wasabi and ooopsacoconut how you ladies doing? Xx

Thandeka - DD was posterior even in early labour by did an amazing weird feeling spin at some point and was out in 15 minutes! I did spend the last weeks leaning over my ball to watch telly and read. I didn't feel any of my contractions until I was 5cms so it may not be all bad. I am now 21 weeks I can't beliee how fast time goes.
