Whole ladies area (too much info) aches and feels pulled. Sign of baby engaging? Imminent labour? Or have I got to bear this for another 4 weeks. Feel like about to go, like when I get my menstrual cycle.

DD1 was a c section and never felt any of this and never progressed, so dont know if late stage aches and pains or sign ofimminent labour. Been feeling bit nauseus as well last few days

I have that too (am 31 weeks) and have for probably two weeks - feels like I've been punched between the legs and everything is bruised. I think it's just another pleasure of pregnancy, cos nothing else is happening....

Ah boo hiss!

I think its the pressure being exerted by the baby etc within the abdomen, it causes a build up of blood in the whole area, there is so much more bllod circulating as well that things do tend to feel very engorged during late pregnancy, i can remember the feeling well!!

Engorged!Punched! I feel it all. Cant believe this 2nd preg so different to first.

I think its a sign that the baby will just pop out with one mild contraction, a slight push and then smile, gurlge, and sleep all night

Oh if only!!! off to hosp today to see if they can tell me anything to get my hopes up that I have not gotlong to wait!

Same here, was induced with dd so don't know how things 'feel' if they get going.

Since about christmas eve have that ache of 'better pop to the loo as I have come on' and hideous BH. I'm 40+4 and so low how this baby is just not literally falling out I don't know

ShowOfHands · 11/01/2010 14:53

Ouch. I felt like that when dd engaged at 31 weeks. She stayed fixed and engaged for another 8 weeks. Oh but it ached.

mummynumnum · 11/01/2010 20:20

Hosp wrote in book, baby cephalic and 3/5. Think that means head down and almost engaged.

Excessive stomach rumbling-is that a sign of labour?
