Cyst in womb at 6wks...

Just wondering if anyone else has experience of having a cyst in their womb while pregnant? I went for an internal scan today and we spotted a cyst. When I asked the nurse she told me that it would be fine in a while (??) and not to worry. As my DH had to go to work I didn't get a chance to ask anything about them...
Anyone ever had one?

Are you sure the cyst was in your womb?

I remember when I had a scan at around six weeks there was a fluid filled cyst in the pouch of douglas, which is just outside the womb - this is perfectly normal, and it just goes away.

At my 12 week scan I was told they had spotted 2 cysts on my ovaries. They took some photos and said they would check them at my next scan. I was told they don't usually worry about them unless there are 6 or more. Many women have cysts and can be as a result of left over eggs during ovulation.

Sorry if these are different to the ones in your womb but hope this helps.
