Amnio results

I just wondered how long anyone else has had to wait for results after an amnio. I had an amnio on Christmas Eve and am still waiting for the results. We could have paid £105 for the results in 2-3 days but because of all the holidays over the Christmas period they couldn't guarantee when we would get them so we decided to wait.

We were expecting the results in 2 weeks which was yesterday, but we haven't heard anything yet. I've phoned the hospital today and they don't know anything yet, so we're still waiting.

Anyone else?

We had ours in 2 parts.

The first set came in a few days (Down's. Patau's & Edward's), the second set came in about 2 weeks (rarer conditions, sex if we wanted it).

The Christmas holidays do really mess things up time wise. Hope yours come soon. It's a really stressful time, so have some virtual hugs from me.
