Hi I dont know if anyone can help me...
For hour or so have had a niggle on my right side bottom rib, then niggle moves and can feel it right side of bump below where bottom rib is.
Have to say boobs do hurt a bit today and back does ache today- I know this is all normal but rib pain/ right side pain= v.worried!
I'm hoping its either: ribs adapting/ growing/some internal organs moving for babe maybe?

Help! Google has panicked me... damn google will I ever learn

At 14 weeks your uterus is barely out of your pelvis so it is more likely to be wind or ligament pain than related to baby I think. However, if any vaginal loss, cramping certainly give your epu a ring in the morning.
Don't google, that way madness lies

Thanks for reply

I dont have any cramping or bleeding just this pain seems to just be on my right side now not so much ribs just below.
Oh boo should of just carried on making meatballs and got myself in a state!

I had this for several weeks in first preg, and now again in second preg (I'm also 14 weeks, hello!) - I asked a friend who's a GP and she said it was probably my rib cage expanding, and was nothing to worry about. Seems unfair to have another niggle once first trimester sickness/ exhaustion is finally dying down!

I have exactly the same pain! went to doc and he said it as unlikely to be pregnancy related, but am going to phone midwife on Monday. I think it is heartburn with me - I am definitely getting that 'burning' sensation in lower gullet and when I bend over it is very painful. Am going to try Gaviscon and Zantac over the weekend to see if they help - if they do, it is probably indigestion!

If your pain gets unbearable though, I'd phone NHS Direct. If, as I am, you are concerned about cholestasis, I have done some research/googling and it seems very unlikely to be that at this stage in a pregnancy. I am 15 weeks on Tuesday. Hope this is of some reasurance!

Would also make sense re the rib cage expanding - my bras have become tighter of late! Mine is definitely more to do with the rib/right on or below the rib, rahter than livery.

haggis and katharine thank you i was starting to think it was just me! Mine is definitely just below right rib or on it. May of over stretched now i think about it so that could be an option.
