13 week scan tomoro after 3 mc

Hi everyone!
Got my 13 week scan tomoro and am basically dreading it! It should be an exciting experience but I have grown to hate them rooms where they scan u as I've heard so many times in them "Its not good news I'm afraid'. Already had two scans at 6 and 8 weeks but I just dont feel that pregnant. My boobs are a little sore but not much and I've had no sickness throughout. Arghhh I dont know I just needed to rant as im so frightened!!

sending you big hugs and positive vibes. Been there, tis horrendous, and you just can't believe - or let yourself believe, that you're pg. Everything crossed for you, but one word to the wise, tell the sonographer that you have had mc's and that you would like a "running commentary" or whatever. They were happy to do this for me, after I found out how worrying the silent scan could be

If you've got to 13 weeks then all the indications are good, but I know that doesn't help with the worrying at all. Crossing everything for you.

aww danijade my love, I know only too well how anxious and nervewracking each scan after mc is - been there too. Thing is you know its got to be done and the chances of it being bad news is really low after a +ve scan at 6 and 8wks. I agree 100% with gigglebells tell the sonographer immediately you get in the room you have a history and you need to know about a hb immediately. That lets you breathe enough to stop going blue then you need to know asap correct size for dates.

Though I have to say I think by the time you get to 3 mcs you can read faces.

Good luck, there is a 4th time lucky as my gorgeous ds is proof.

What fantastic news DaniJade1990. Reading this thread has given me so much hope and hopefully I can be in the club too very soon. Had my 3rd M/C Oct 09, had a bit of a rough time after and ended up having 2 erpc's the 2nd erpc on 16th December. I am just waiting for my 1st period to come and then I will start trying straight away. Got to go back to my consultant on 4th February to get results to see if everything is ok with me.

This is a fantastic thread and given me so much hope. Thankyou.

DaniJade1990 - Just out of intrest was you investigated after your 3 m/c? Have you been told to take anything through this pregnancy?
