mucus??

36+5 did anyone have lots of mucus everytime they went to the toilet towards the end of their pregnancy?, have been getting alot of egg white mucus like snot everytime i wipe when been for a toilet but no blood, could this be a sign of labour arriving soon, or have i got ages left? lol

In one of my pregnancy books it says that this can happen a week before and it is hormones softening cervix, but i'm a first timer so iwouldn't really know.

lol dont worry about it lol, i have totally no clue at all and its my 2nd baby lol

I've been having this for weeks now and im only 22 weeks pregnant, the midwife told me its really normally to get it throughout your whole pregnancy and only to worry if it has blood in it which is a sign of the mucus plug going!

I have the most ridiculous amount of discharge - its getting worse the nearer to term I get (due date is tomorrow) to the extent that I am changing panty liners practically everytime I go to the loo (i.e. hourly).

No loss of mucous plug yet though but I have dreamt of losing it twice - the first time it looked like plasticine with an image of the placenta on it, last night it looked like a pile of mud!!

I've been wearing panty liners for a few weeks now to cope with extra discharge but I remember the last week of my pregnancy with DD there was a lot of snot like discharge, I felt wet and thought my waters were leaking but there weren't - I knew all about it when they did gush out!
It's a sign things are gettig ready but who can tell when that will be !!!!
I didn't have a show just a big whoosh of water (and the clear snot like you describe)
