How long did you have to wait for your sure start maternity grant??

I'm 34 + weeks pregnant and my husband lost his job 4 weeks before xmas so we were advised to apply for the above grant. I applied almost 4 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything, I have called and they just keep telling me that I have to wait another week! Has anyone else received this grant of £500 and how long did it take to go on to your bak account?

I don't know about this one, but the Health in Pregnancy grant takes up to six weeks to come through. Ours took about 4 and a half weeks in the end.
Hope you don't have to wait too long.

mine took nearly 2 months to come, depends if they have many to deal with.
