I am 37 weeks and have been in hospital with a suspected blood clot, they discharged me yesterday and said i had an infection in vein.

My calfs and the top of my legs ache really bad through the night and didnt think to mention this when in hospital as the pain that made them think i had clot was a sharp pain. I was just wondering if anyone else gets really bad pains in their legs at night, or if its something i should be ringing the hospital about tomorrow?

I have just fell asleep for 2 hours with dd and woke up with bad aches in both calfs

Please ring them just in case. Better to get checked out than worry yourself over night tonight. Honestly. I know I have been pretty swollen but have SPD and have not been very active as a result. I do get tightness in my legs and have exp a slight pain behind my knees but I've put this down to not being active and everything tightening up with fluid retention, so not the same as you. Please just call them, you'll feel better xxx
