Anyone had a GTT at QCCH - water question?

Hi,
Have my GTT tomorrow and can't get through to the hospital (Queen Charlotte's) to ask if i'm allowed to drink water. Has anyone else had theirs done there who might know if I can or not? Thanks

Don't think you're allowed - can't remember for sure but recall asking if brushing my teeth was OK and they looked at me as if I was mad ( Durr pregnant, course I'm mad!) and said that was only a bit so fine.

It's usually nothing to eat or drink from midnight. Did you get any info with your appointment letter?

Thanks for the info. Finally managed to get hold of my midwife who confirmed that no water is allowed - just a sip to take medication.
