Where can I have a cot bumper made?

Does anyone know of anywhere that will make a cot bumper using fabric I supply? I've already put up a blind in baby's nursery (only one that would fit huge window so was somewhat limited in choice) and would like to have a cot bumper made to match.

I know there's a lot of divided opinion on cot bumpers - but it's only for decoration at this stage really. Baby will be sleeping in with us to start with.

Thanks

You could try on Ebay. Look for handmade sewn items. I did that when I wanted to have a cotbed size duvet cover made with particular fabric, and I found a lady who made me a fantastic set.

Making a cot bumper is fairly basic, it's all straight lines - do you know anyone who has a sewing machine? You probably know a dozen people who could whip one up for you, just ask around. You may be surprised what people can do that you just never knew - a friend of mine is KNITTING me a shawl for my baby and she is not remotely domestic or creative! I was astonished when she followed up this announcement with, 'I made DS's curtains, cot bumper and play mat'. Mention it to a few people and someone's bound to be able to do it for you.
