Pregnancy after Depo Provera

I already have 2 kids, agres 1.7 and 2.9. I have stopped having my depo jab as it is making me even fatter and we have decided to have another baby. Anyway, my question is this: Has anyone else got pg after depo? How long did it take? I haven't had a period since Feb (I think) and my last jab was due on 21st March but I didn't have it, and I still haven't had a period. (hi Mum2Toby, if you're reading ) So, I may be pregnant now - done a tes a few weeks ago and it was neg. I don't want to spend hundreds of pounds on tests (although I AM tempted!) so would appreciate some of your experiences with this! Thanks.

I had one course of depo, before switching to the minipill. I was told it could take up to one year of being clear of the jab before you could get pg.
hope it's good news dcolagirl!

M2T - you are pg now, aren't you? I am going to test again at the end of June. Feel bloated but then that could be pg or due to have a period.

A friend of mine was off the jab for 3 weeks when she fell. It took 3.5 years to fall for ds (1st Baby) but only 8 weeks to fall for dd (2nd). My body needs to make up it's mind

DC - no I'm not. It looks like a false alarm.... which I am quite pleased about coz now I'm free to get the wedding plans underway! We want another one soon, but definitely want the wedding out of the way first.

It just seems to be potluck when ttc doesn't it!? Goodluck anyway.... go do another test!
