Hi,
I get extremely restless in the evenings and have pains in my arms and legs. Usually panadol makes it at least bearable. However I am worried to take it too often. Is once a day 2 tablets ok to take or is too regular/often??

thanks.

I have carpal tunnel at night so a couple of paracetamol have become part of my bedtime ritual.

Both GP and Midwife said that was fine, could even take an earlier dose so that they pain didn't start, rather than waiting for it to start and then getting going.

With dd I took ONE paracetamol about twice the whole 9 months, this pregnancy I have been so poorly it has become my lifeline, I have had at least two weeks of constant Panadol taking so I wouldnt worry too much

My very common sensical midwife has said its fine BTW, I did check with her first of course!

I got really bad headaches at the beginning of my pregnancy and avoided taking any painkillers for fear of harming the baby.

Upon mentioning this to my midwife, she told me I had absolutely nothing to worry about and that it was perfectly fine for me to take them as I normally would i.e. 2 every four hours. As it turned out, I didn't need them nearly that much but it was good to know!

I have had horrible headaches and sinusitus with this pregnancy, and have been taking Panadol, the doctor and MW said this was fine.

Thank you all for the reassurance. I was told that panadol was fine but was not sure if it is bad if you take like once a day.

Thanks again.
