I've reached 23+4 with my first. I've got rheumatoid arthritis which is unluckily not gone into remission as promised by my consultant and has in fact gone completely haywire. I've not managed to sleep properly for at least a week and have been told by the hospital to manage pain with paracetamol (which does nothing) and to rest on lots of pillows. This isn't working and the flare continues and I'm not allowed any more steroids. Last night I developed intense pain in my groin as well as usual pain elsewhere which makes my leg ache. If it is RA it's an odd place to get it, could it be SPD?
Just to put a little cherry on top I have developed thrush too and its my birthday tomorrow - hooray!
Baby is thankfully fine and kicking away as I write.

Hi there
Sorry to hear you are having a hard time with your pregnancy.
Could it be sacro-iliitis? I suffer with this and it causes me severe lower back pain which often spreads to the groin. Perhaps it is worth mentioning to your doctor? Hope you can get the problem sorted out .
