It wasnt like this when I was pg with dd. I had nothing until my waters leaked, then went into a nice labour the next day.

This time, 36 weeks pg - Backache, period pains and electric cervix shocks that come and go.

How do you know when it is labour and not just your body playing games???!!

you'll know!

my cx started after a sweep and there was no mistaking them ...

Sorry I dont know that answer but if its any consolation I am 28w with DC2 and am finding it much harder this time round too. Hips are playing up and just tired and grouchy - my MW said it always is a longer slog w second and subsequent pregnancies - you are whacked from looking after DC1, older and your body has already dealt w one pg - it all adds up! Plus I think you don't get as much slack cut for you by others becasue they think you can cope OK becasue you've done it all before...hang in there you're almost there!!

Yes, people do think you can cope! I dont get any help with dd when I visit people or they come here!

How early can you ask for a sweep? I have mw tomorrow, maybe I will beg her!!
