Was wondering if anyone had noticed any changes to their bodies or moods that indicated that labour was gonna come soon in the next couple of days. Would love to hear about any.

No, I didn't notice anything different at all. Even when I started in labour I still wasn't quite sure until it really got going although I was hopeful.

Oops forgot about the 'show'.
Yes, once I had a show, then the baby was born within the next 12 hours.

4 days before my waters went I cleaned the house - I cleaned every window, every socket and light switch.

I had nested before that but that was extreme nesting for me!

With both ds's had 3-5 days of braxton hicks, each lot lasting anything from 2-4 hours and about 3 minutes apart, but they soon stopped. It wasn't until my waters went both times that labour proper started with a vengeance.

I also felt very restless and unsettled in the week preceding labour.

I felt full of energy, a last burst about a week before,so was walking everywhere.I was disapointed when I got sickness and diareah for two days. I had bad stomach cramps and my breath stunk of rotten eggs !! Yuck!!
I went for my 40 wk check up, and the midwife just raised an eyebrow and had a smug smile ( I thought she was smirking at me moaning)
3 days later my waters broke, and began contractions.
However because my diareah had been so painfull, the contractions were a walk in the park compared to that !!
Now I know what the midwife had been smiling at, she must have known the symptoms!! lol

For my 1st & 2nd (am currently pregnant with 3rd) I basically just felt a bit under the weather & didn't want to do anything/wasn't up to doing anything about 24hrs prior to going into labour.
