How do i get it to turn properly?

Midwife just said to get down on all fours with me bum in the air, but do i need to rock or anything at all?

yep, all fours worked for me. Baby then has room to swing round. Try draping on a gym/birthing ball too.

DS2 kept on turning back to OP position but he eventually stayed

Good luck

A friend of mine who is a midwife recommended this website www.spinningbabies.com I've been reading it avidly as I'm hoping to get my baby into a good position (am 37 weeks now).

Hope you get it turned around.

my ds turned in labour (to back to back grrr) but at least there is hope right up to the last minute if nothing works

Oh god, that was a mistake.

I should have known better really then to try and get down on all fours... i have SPD and back roblems, and whilst i managed to get down, i couldn't for the life of me get back up. DP had to lift me bless him

So, anyone know any oter ways of turning a baby that doesn't involve me getting on the floor?

Try sitting with your knees below your hips, e.g. sitting on a dining chair backwards.
