Don't know what to do with myself...

Further to my post the other day about not knowing if things are starting or not.

Today, this afternoon ezpecially, i've been having lots more pains. Under bump, backache and on the top of my bump feels like someones pressing down on it.

Main thing though, is that i'm feeling strangely unsettled - i can't get comfortable at all, no matter if i'm sat or i'm stood... i honestly just don't know what to do with myself.

This is going to sound really strange, but i had my twins by emergency c-sec at 28 weeks, my daughter i had a sweep with and went straight into having contractions every two mins, so i've no idea what early labour feels like. I know i'll know... but am just feeling so uncomfortable and i really just don't know what to do with myself.

I have been like this for a few days, Im only 35+6 though. This morning I actually thought I was in labour - Regular pains low in the bump like when I had dd.

I think the 2nd time you go through it your body plays tricks on you!

I rememeber seeing your other thread but cant remember how far gone you are?

I went for a walk round the shops yesterday and had loads of pressure in my bits - Maybe go for a longish walk tomorrow to see if that helps things move along.

I'm 37+1 at the moment. Have a midwife appointment tomorrow, so maybe she'll be able to tell me if anythings going on.

Can you update this thread with what she says? I dont have a mw appointment for another week so would be interested to know

Im going to buy one of those birthing balls tomorrow to see if bouncing on that helps.

I'll be sure to let you know

Just updating for you, mama2moo.

Saw midwife today, who said that she thinks that things are moving, albeit slowly. She told me to get some pineapple in as well as raspberry leaf tea capsules and although they won't start things, they would help it along when it does properly.

Baby is also back to back, so need to get down on all fours with me arse in the air

Sounds like you could be in early labour. I was on Friday and had my baby on Monday.

Thanks Deemented, fingers crossed it happens soon for you. I havent had much today except loads of 'alien' movements in odd places so I wonder if baby has had a shift around.

I think you need to spend quite a bit of time on all fours to get baby to move, when is your next check up to see if its moved?

Good luck
