There's still time!! I'm 37+4 and have been breech for 7 weeks, but i guess its a great sign if yours keep changing position as there must be still room to move... I've been trying moxibustion and a homeopathic remedy, no luck so far, but might work for you?? Good luck

DS1 was transverse at term, but officially was classed as an "unstable lie" i.e. he kept moving around. They tried an ECV at 38 weeks, which failed and then I had a c-section at 39 weeks as a natural birth is not possible with a transverse baby.

I was told to spend lots of time on all fours as this maximises the space the baby has to turn and get the position confirmed with a scan if you haven't done so already (midwives can and do get it wrong). In the absolute worse case you have the choice between a c-section or a vaginal breech birth. If you read up on both now at least you will be prepared if or when you have to make a decision.

Dont panic!.

This baby was breech from weeks 14 -29 (well on every scan/ Drs visit anyway!)

He turned to transverse from week 29 -31.

Breech again from 31 - 36+2.

I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that he was definately not going to turn - that he had always been in this position, throughout the entire pregnancy and I began to assume that there was a reason he wasnt turning.

I had convinced myself I was having a c section to be honest.

Anyway had Consultants appointment Tuesday at 36+3 (in which he would be provisionally booking c section) and on Monday night didnt sleep well as ds was moving lots - I didnt pass much notice.

Found out he has completely turned to a head down position!! last thing I had expected!.

Please try not to worry x

Hello, my DS was breech at the same time, tried lots of moxybustion and awoke in the middle of the night on my back feeling like i was being stretched sideways, but made conscious effort to relax as if still asleep and let him get on with it. Sure enough the following day he has turned.

DD was breech until about 36 wks, then she turned in the night.

Boy, that was weeeeird. Ultimately good though.

DD turned at 36 weeks after some reflexology

when i went for my ECV at 37 weeks she was head down and she stayed there

she had been transverse, oblique and breech the whole time before that

if your baby is still very active then she has room to move which is great

Dd was unstable lie and definitely transverse at 36 weeks. She changed postion frequently and finally went head down the night before my planned c-section. They sent me home after 2 weeks on the ante-natal ward.
