have lost the instructions for the pregnancy test I used today - can anyone help??

it's a surescreen one with a blue wavy lid. There are two windows - one square and one round. I bought it in tesco I think...

I'm not sure if the result is positive - should it be crossed lines in one window or just a line in each one?

am totally embarressed, but really need to know..

please help!!

i did a tesco pg test with pinky purply lines i was pg + with a line in 1 window to show the test has worked and a cross in the other to show + if its neg it will be just the 1 line no cross. I cant be sure of the exact test though sorry. hth

oh and congratulations if u are

As a general rule you get a line in one window to say the test has worked.
If there are two lines in two windows you're pregnant, if only one window has a line then it's a negative result.

The only exception to this that I'm aware of is Clearblue who give a cross if it's positive and one horizontal line if it's negative.

thanks so much. i thought it had to be a cross in the second window but wasn't sure.

we'd be delighted to be pregnant but i need to come off some medication first! am going to do another test, but thanks again for your help .

I would buy another test. I tried looking on google for an answer for you but no luck.

2 lines or dots usually means pregnant.

am pregnant! Nearly wet myself in a local tesco's when i saw the box with an explanation of the results on it. Did second test and got the same results.
