Just a quick query really...
By my LMP i'm 21+6, my 13wk scan had me at 13+6 and my 20 wk scan had me at 19+2 - which blinking date do i go by!!!
Tbh i think LO was just being awkward for both scans and i should just go for LMP date when trying to work out mat leave.
Anyone else have odd dating scans?

They usually go by the 12 week dating scan - or 13+6, in your case.

By my dates i'm currently 37+5, but by their dating scan, which they are going by i'm 36+6.

Depends what care you want/receive and what outcome you want for the pregnancy. So, is it absolutely imperative that you have certain appointments/tests at certain times or do you need an elective cs before a certain date? Are you pro or anti induction? These are things to consider as your gestation may effect the care/timings.

My dates were different to the scan dates and I was 100% positive when I conceived (only had sex once that month and ovulated a day later- by their dates I conceived when dh wasn't in the same county as me). I knew that I didn't want to be induced and I didn't want them insisting that I was further along than I was and very overdue when I knew I wasn't so insisted that they went by my dates which they agreed to.

If you're happy to go with the flow and have no strong feelings about avoiding or achieving induction for example, then a few days difference won't really matter.

may affect.

Original due date is may 4th - looking at my records as they have dated me from 12wk scan my due date has been changed to may 5th.... random!
I think its not changed too much as LO insisted on looking at us the whole time and 4 diff midwives couldn't get the right measurement needed.... like i said before, awkward

I have several dates too and am going with the latest one... firstly as I am don't want to be induced so would rather have later DD also in terms of managing my own expectations.
