supposed to go to hopsital appointment today - but v v v icy

Please help. Am supposed to go to hospital today for follow up scan after 20 week scan. Hospital is quite far away, 2 buses and will have to walk up and down 2 v steep hills.
Should I go, or phone and reschedule.
Am terrified if don't go will be bad for baby, and if do go will fall and break my legs!!!

Please phone and reshedule im sure they will be more than understanding! So long as your feeling movement etc from baby im sure they can book you in between christmas and new year. Take care x

Even if you thought you could get there it is probably worth phoning first, because the staff may not have managed to make it in.
If you phone in and manage to speak to anyone then they may be able to advise you on whether you should try to make the scan, or if it would be OK to reschedule.

am going to phone local midwives to check with them. Am hating this weather

Just phoned local midwife to ask her. Was total waste of time, she said read the weather forcast and make your own decision?????

If it was me I think I would try to go. I wouldn't be able to relax over Christmas otherwise.

Would a taxi be easier? I am off to hospital soon for physio appointment, its at 10 but am going to leave soon so I don't need to rush.

Did you go? How did you get on?

Yes went, had to get taxi to start with and taxi couldn't drive up our road, too icy, had to meet him on the corner. But all well on journey and glad I went.
