Quite fancy foot spa, but read somewhere that not suitable for use in pregnancy.
Can someone explain why?

If it's too hot I suppose there is a small danger of your body temp being raised too much, as it will be higher than normal anyway.

There's another line of thought that the vibrations from the spa stimulate the points on your foot which can bring on contractions (as used in reflexology). I'm a trained reflexologist though and I'd think that this highly unlikely, when doing reflexology pressure is applied on very specific points using firm pushes, can't see that a foot spa would be strong enough to have anywhere near the same effect.

So really, I can't think why they wouldn't be suitable, and if you fancy it it will probably do you good!
