Anyone else overdue and fed up with snow?

I'm more than a week overdue and utterly fed up with going to bed watching the snow get deeper, wondering if I'll be able to get to the hospital. Also entertaining a toddler is pretty hard when it's too cold to go out! Let alone invasion of ILs for Christmas!

Anyone else in the same situation? Can we moan together?

WHY are you having your ILs for Christmas when you have a baby due?!

They invited themselves - booked a cottage nearby, even though I asked them to wait until we were ready. I was more than .

Sympathies with the in-laws. we are off to my parents for this xmas, but when we mentioned to the inlaws that we are intending to spend it at home next year they jumped straight in and invited themselves for the day.....NEXT YEAR!!!! Personally I'm up for moving house and forgetting to give them our new address.

Try not to worry about the snow. If you can't get your car out to get to the hospital you will be able to call an ambulance for assistance.......you won't be left alone to give birth. Hope you go into labour on xmas day.....that'll spoil the inlaws xmas dinner!!

I get told this story every year - I was born in the huge snow drifts of 1981/1982 winter and the army came out to take my mum to hospital (always a perk ).

I really sympathise with you though - maddening enough in the last few weeks without having a toddler cooped up as well.

Heth - fab idea, then you can act all nonchalant and say 'oh I thought I had forgotten to tell someone...'
