Help! My DH and I have finally decided on naming our gorgeous baby girl due in August, Isabelle. Not uncommon at the moment, I know. But I'd like to give her a perhaps "unusual" middle name to make her stand out from the rest of them.. but nothing seems to go!! HELP!!

Well, if you're anything like us, we were still wondering what middle name to give her the night before we got her registered.

Finally we picked Emily - a name we both liked but didn't want to use because we know a few Emily's already. Doesn't go particularly well with her first name but ho hum who ever hears it anyway?

Oooh am liking Isabelle Caitlin / Grace... Had kind of (without DH's knowledge) reserved Caitlin for DD2.. But then what if we have a boy... or are put off for life and have no more...

Hmmmm..

As for Ruby/Scarlett... Lovely names but Is a bell ruby? Especially as her surname is going to be woolley... which my mother finds hilarious!!!

On another thread recently someone was suggesting Ghislaine which I think is divine!

Lio · 01/07/2005 13:17

Love Scarlett but SoupDragon is right. Isabelle Mae... or Mae not. For some reason think a one-syllable name goes well with Isabelle and Woolley, but can only think of Jane for the moment, not exaclty fulfilling your 'unusual' criteria...

edam · 01/07/2005 13:21

Love Grace. Or how about Megan? Isabelle Megan?
