sore armpit 29 weeks

HI,

Im 29 weeks pregnant, all going good so far but this morning woke up with a really tender armpit. Im going to give the midwife a call on Monday and run it by her but just wondered has anyone else experienced this?

Im presuming its a pregnancy related thing, anyone got any ideas?

Is it the gland in your armpit that's tender? I get this when I'm coming down with a cold etc. The gland is quite close to the edge(close to your boob) and will feel like a raised bump if it's that.Mine can get really tender and is sore when raising my arm etc. Definitely give your doc or midwife a call though.

do you wear underwired bras? I discovered that because my boobs changed shape/size, the wire started rubbing in my armpit and caused it to be painful. Changed bras and it's been fine.
