halls soothers in first trimester?

hello!! i am currently 8+1 with my first and after mc in june this year...havent had scan yet so no idea what us going on in there...

i am suffering from the most horrific cold and sore throat..feeling really sorry for myself, on top of sickness, tiredness, sore boobs etc etc...i know i can only take paracetamol but are halls soothers ok for throat? any other remdies i can take too that are safe for me and bean?

My GP said if you can buy throat soothers from the sweet rack in the newsagent, they're perfectly safe. So yes!

Actually my pharmacist told me no.

If you ask in a pharmacy they will point you u=in the direction of something that is ok.

Saying that, I was told yes they're safe when I asked at about 15weeks. Not sure about 1st tri
