Period Like Pains?

I found out I was pregnant yesterday, AF was due Tuesday.

I have been getting pains/aches which feel a bit like I am going to start my period and have been getting them for the last week or so. It's like a dull ache I suppose.

Do I need to worry, or is this normal? I can't remember getting them with my other pregnancies.

This was totally normal for me, always felt like my period was about to start for the first few weeks.

I remember having this both times very early on, Felt just like i was about to start my period.
Its quite common i think.

I had this. I was in a bit of a stressful situation at the time, and was convinced AF was late due to that, especially as I kept getting those period type pains. Any day now thought I. Dd is now 5.

I think it is your womb reacting to hormones or something....

Same with me, I had to have a hot water botle on my lower back in the evening when relaxing to try and relieve the aches for the first two weeks I was pregnant!

Absolutely normal, same for me, for quite a few weeks.
