Hi there,

I hired one from Mothercare last time and was reasonably happy with it but wondered if there's one that's the bees knees? Don't see how we could compare them but worth a go! Thanks in advance. Need one for mid Jan.

I used a Boots one with my first two and then bought a Babycare Elle one for my last baby. It was excellent (although I think the effect is more or less the same, whatever you use, the Elle one is quite posh and very adjustable). You can buy them online.

Was thinking more about hiring - if they funciton the same perhaps it's easiest to stick with the mothercare one.

Thanks.

I have the Elle Tens one. It is great. Has a lovely "boost" button for when things get too much. You can hire these as well.

Does anyone here have sensitive skin and a recommendation for a TENS machine? I had an awful allergic reaction to the one I used before

Thanks for replies - have just ordered the Elle Tens from tens.co.uk - have seen good ratings of the site. Sorry can't help kaloki - perhaps you need different electrode pads or to stick the electrodes on with something different -are you allergic to plasters normally? Perhaps you could use mepore tape you can buy from chemists? Good luck.
