Very painful bump in the mornings...

Im 33 weeks pg now with a rather large bump.

For the last few mornings when I get out of bed I have to lie back down because my bump hurts so much I cant walk or sit down. Its a pain right at the bottom. It seems to go if I lie down again for a while though.

Anyone else got this? I didnt have it with dd. I wonder if its because my bump is so big and I am tossing and turning all night with very painful hips.

Any tips would be great. Thanks

Hi im almost 39 wks and have had this for last few wks...midwife said its pelvic girdle pain or pubic symphysis when the pubic bone starts 2 seperate like u said its much more painful when u stand up...sumtimes i get sharp pains and feel as if am goin 2 wee myself never had it with DS and im much smaller this time round which is strange!!
Only advice i can give u is sleep with as many pillows as possible between ur legs, in at back etc...my midwife was goin 2 refer me to physio 4 excersises and 2 c about gettin a support band bt i didnt c the point as i am due to pop but mayb worth mentionin 2 urz since u have a few wks 2 go??

You might find something like this really helps - I can't find the actual one I've got but it's similar. You put one end between your legs and hug the other end around the bump. I can now only sleep comfortably if it's in place.
