33 weeks pg and I look like I have stuck a beach ball up my jumper...

I was big with dd but it was summer and I had a lot of water retention. (And ate all the foods I had banned for the last 10 years)

This time, I am huge. I am eating no more then normal bar the odd slight binge. Im not swollen anywhere.

Please tell me this baby wont be huge. Dd was only 7lb 1oz. I might go and do my own fundal height in a mo - Will a DIY tape measure work?

I've done the odd measurement of my fundal height out of curiosity - there's a chart in my preggy notes which gives the normal range.

You can feel the top of the fundus quite easily, so if you can remember where the midwife puts the bottom end of the tape measure (more or less at the bottom of the bump), you'll get a vague idea.

Think its a bit hit and miss though if you do it yourself!
