Spotting and Cramps 12 weeks

I had my 12 week scan on tuesday, and later that evening I had really strong cramps. Overnight I began spotting and have continued to do so till lunchtime today. The cramps have come back since the spotting stopped. I contacted my midwife twice but she hasnt got back to me on either occasions.

Anybody have a thought on what I should do?

Can you contact your local antenatal ward at your local hospital? Whenever I have had a problem they have always talked me through it and put my mind at rest....hope everything is ok

A friend of mine who use to work on the delivery suite called them, and they thing the sonographer probably disturbed the calm down there and thats possibly causing the spotting and cramps. If it continues they want to see me.
