Constipation & indigestion

Hi all

I'm 9 wks pregnant with my 2nd child, and woke up yesterday morning at 4am in incredible pain. It lasted until I went to the loo this morning

Initially thought I had back ache under my shoulder blades, but when the pain moved to my chest I realised I had indigestion. I could hardly breath... the pain was so sharp. Then I realised I couldn't remember having been for a poo in a day or too

I've had no acid reflux, but seem to be getting 'blocked up' rather a lot. I didn't suffer this when pregnant with my DS, and so would be grateful for any hits or tips on how to avoid.

I guess Thai curry is off the menu, and Porridge is on, but any other tips would be great, as I don't want to suffer this pain again if I can avoid it!

I had the indigestion, the sharpe pains in my chest, thought I was having a heart attack, sorted out by Gaviscon!!!!

I have really bad constipation as well, have found the only thing that gets rid of that is good ole Lactolose (had to get it prescibed by doc)

I have suffered with both these things all the way through, am 24 weeks today

Hope you feel better soon, I think 90% of ladies on here can sympathise with you
