HI girls, am new but want to spread a positive word! My sis in the Uk sent me this maternity band she found online and its a godsend! Its from a site called lafeenoire.com and is called hug-a-bump! which i thought is kinda cute! Anyway being in the US its hard to find stuff over and above what the Obs suggest but I just love this, it fits, is comfy and definatley relieves the strain of SPD in my lower back. give it a try, nothing to lose as they say

ouch! nothing to lose but £35 plus shipping. You can get maternity support belts from places like the NCT website much cheaper.

The ones from the NCT above look fine for back ache, but if your PGP/SPD is more in the hips and particularly sacroiliac joint I would definitely advise the Serola belt, which is more expensive, but seems to work well for me. The cheapest place I could find it was www.appliedbiomechanics.co.uk. Looks like its quite similar to the hug-a-bump, but these are the european distributors so you don't have to pay shipping from America. They are also a lot less cumbersome than the ones you can get from the NHS physio and you can actually sit down in them.
