How painful should kicking and movement be?

I am 33 weeks and the babys movements are absolutly killing me. It is really painful, I cant remember them being this painful with my dd even though she was small and this one is big cos i have gestational diabetes. Is anyone else in agony off movements or should it not be this painful?

When pg with DS I was in agony a lot of the time. Partly because he was breach and stamping on my bladder, partly because he was big. Poor you, I can't give you any advice really, just concentrate on iot being for a few more weeks.

But perhaps see your midwife if you#re finding it very difficult.

Both my ds's movements were quite painful to the point where I'd groan or something whenever it happened.
Ds1 was worse, but he was alot bigger than ds2.
If you are concerned, mention it to your midwife.

I'm 33 wks too. My baby seems to be very strong and energetic, but the kicks never actually hurt - except for when he moves against my bladder and I go YOW!

My DS2 was very painful inside, like you describe. Particularly lying on the sofa at night, his knee or foot would push out the side and it would like form a tent shape with my flesh! Agony! He was only 7.11lb at birth, but my bump was high and round.

Im 38 wkz nd in agony...baby nmbr2 is lyin spine 2 spine so sumtimes i feel as if a hand or foot could cum out my bump at any min!! So much 4 movements supposedly gettin less near due d8 ...xx

Mine often kicks in exactly the same place. It's turned into a really tender spot and makes me wince now. 'Normal' kicks aren't painful, but sometimes are hard enough to make me go 'uff'.

I have GD too and am 33 weeks and am finding bubba's movements increasingly painful. Was at diabetic clinic this morning and completely forgot to ask diabetic mw about it.

I think as our babies are bigger it will probably hurt more. Some are so bad they really take my breath away!!
