Excuses for the work xmas party?

I found out i was pg last week so don't really want to tell people yet (will tell close family over xmas). Problem is next week is my work chrimbo party at which under normal circumstances i am famed for being one of the people who start drinking at midday and finish at midnight. There is already speculation at work that they think i'm pg because i wasn't drinking at a recent retirement bash. So the speculation will only increase if i'm not drinking on the one day of the year everyone else in the office gets hammered. I'm dreading next week - any good advice on excuses i can use?

Say you've had dental work done

Say you had a related infection and are taking METRONIDAZOLE

You can't drink on it because if you do you'll end up puking everywhere (it has an emetic effect)

OR

You've got cystitis and can't have alcohol cause it'll make it even worse

Thanks girls - like the idea of nursing a spritzer and making a lemonade look like G&T, think i might try that.
