X-rays when pg?

Just wondering if anyone could answer a wee query. I was at the dentist yesterday and they took an X-ray of one of my front teeth. I did a pg test last night which was +ve. Is having an X-ray really really bad and should I be worried?

no not if it was og your teeth - ihad 4 chest x-rays whilst i was pg and 2 radioactive scans of my chest so i wouldnt worry if it was just the once and of your head not your stomach just mention it to your dentist in future

They should have asked you if you could be pg, and offered you a lead apron - bit naughty, that.

Still feel a bit worried. I really don't think that it is the dentists fault I was there 2 weeks ago for my check up and I signed a sheet saying that I wasn't pregnant. To be honest even if they had asked me yesterday I truely would have said that I wasn't becuase it has come as a bit of a surprise!
Thanks for the reassurance.
Also feeling bad cos I was out drinking on Saturday night. I did a test before I went out just incase, one of the first response tests, and it was -ve... but it must have been a day early!
I'm just a bit of a worrier.
Ta again XxX

my grandma had several xrays dont of the baby when she was pg cos they didnt have ultrasound then, he was fine

as for drinking.....i drank about 30 units 5 nights per week for the first 10 weeks of being pg with ds1 - i didnt realise i was pg and just carried on as normal. he was 9lb 13 so pretty dure it didnt stunt his growth (but very happy if it did )

everyone worries but i dont think it will make an ounce of difference. good luck and congrats!
