Tats, so, so sorry.

I am infertile - dh and i tried for 4 years to get pg but I don't ovulate. We had 2 years of infertility treatment on the NHs.

I mc'd 4 times (3 times in the 2 years of treatment) before having a successful pg - 8 weeks, 7 weeks, twins at 7 weeks, 9 weeks. Kept getting told 'bad luck'.

This last pg, I had immune treatment privately alongside the ovulation induction- steroids, baby aspirin, clexane and ivig (after I read 'is your body baby friendly by Dr Alan Beer). We were successful first time with twins (which was a real miracle because we could only afford to do it once).

I would be very glad to send you the book if you cat me.

So sorry again.

ps Unless you are being treated at Liverpool Women's Hospital or at Nottingham CARE then i think your consultant is unlikely to be able to offer this treatment (though you can do the baby aspirin yourself and some centres are doing steroids around implantation time as they are so effective.) The treatment hasn't yet been widely accepted by the mainstream. I went to Dr Amin Gorgy at the Fertility and Gynaecology Academy on Wimpole Street in London. He's really lovely and less expensive than Tarannissi who also offers the immune treatments.

Do CAT if you want to talk about this.
