Had scan at 7 weeks and they said that i had a haematoma behind the placenta which could come away, but ive had nothing, could it be that?

Oh tat I am so sorry

I hope you get some answers.

You will be fine, but you must let yourself grieve too. Please take some time to be sad.

Thinking of you and your DH

Oh Tat, I echo the others sentiments, I am so so sorry I feel like I have gotten to know you, and been following your story - was really hoping that this would be a happy ending.

Your last post was so brave, and filled with wisdom. Don't detach yourself too much? Hope that you see the actual consultant and that you get to the bottom of this.

I was told I could never have children - I have a hormone disorder which stops me ovulating like a natural woman - and here I am pg, 17+6 weeks on, with no medical intervention, God is good. There is hope!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your DH.

I'm so sorry to hear this.

I do think that five miscarriages warrants some serious investigation. When you're feeling up to it, could you write to the consultant personally explaining your history and ask to see him? Back it up with a call to his secretary. You deserve some answers.

Oh no Really sorry

maxpower · 09/12/2009 21:24

I'm so sorry. Ring the hospital and check that the consultant will be in clinic that day. Then, when you arrive, ask to see him and only him. You may have a bit of a wait, but they should be able to accomodate you. Good luck.

FifiForgot · 09/12/2009 21:41

I am so sorry to hear your news.

I second what Maxpower says. I had to endure many years of treatment before falling pregnant with DD. I never seemed to see the same Doctor twice until I asked to see the Consultant when I booked in for my appointment. You may have to wait, but you will be seen by him/her. I always do this now (32 weeks with No2) and I have seen my Consultant at every appointment.

I hope you have some answers soon.

morningpaper · 09/12/2009 21:45

MmeLindt · 10/12/2009 07:43

I am so sorry, Tats. I have been lurking in the hope that there would be a good ending to this.

Do insist on seeing the consultant. You deserve some answers.
