oh god, me too, im 10+5 and have had the same today, im shittling myself.

What do you think it is?
Loads of people on here say that they have bleeding through out pregnancy and every thing is ok.

Are you going to go to the Doctors, or do you have an early pregnancy assessment in your local hospital? You culd go there for a a reassurance scan.
Im booked for one on Wednesday, dont know if i should wait and see what happens, or jsut go today. Dont want to go on my own, and dont want to tell dh,

what you going to do?

I have had bleeding/spotting in both pregnancies, with DD1 it turned out to be from a cervical erosion and continued spotting (brown and sometimes pink) all the way through, with DD2 it was a sub-chorionic bleed just under the placenta. It was bright red and quite a lot each time. This cleared up at about 14 weeks thankfully and all is well.

I know how stressful it is, i would go and get it checked out if i were you. I was always at the antenatal with DD1 because they didn't find the erosion until 32 weeks!!

Sunburntats i can understand you not wanting to go on your own, it is so scary I went on my own a few times as i didn't want to worry DF and have him come out of work. I would go asap though and it will put your mind at rest.

Hope all is ok for both of you, good luck.

Hi, and thanks maybebaby, I phoned midwife yesterday as the brown turned dark red, who told me to go to doc's for a referal to the epu, which I have, and i have a scan tomorrow morn,so sunburntats, I wud recommend you do the same, the spotting is on and off, and im not in any pain, but im not hopeful. Best of luck to you, sunburn.

Didnt read that very well as your already booked in sunburntats! Good luck and I hope it all turns out well for you! I was told by epu, if it got any worse or painful to ring them and they would see me sooner, So if you get any worse yourself, Go sooner, why wait, and worry yourself further.

I had brown spotting for about a month from 12 - 16 weeks with DS3. Typically it started the day after my scan but when I did see the obstetrician around 15 weeks about something else entirely she said there is often no reason found for this. Thinking of you both effilump and sunburn and hoping you get good news at your scans.

maybebaby23 · 08/12/2009 13:44

Good luck at your scans OP and sunburn, hope all is ok for you.
